Poleaxe, "Eclipse" - Smart Blade
 
     Buhurt Tech’s ‘smart blades’ are brutal combinations of ancient art and modern tech; a practical sort of alchemy. The smart blade is constructed using a metal composite to produce a weapon that is hollow, but that sports a reinforced edge; meaning the weapon looks much heavier than it really is.
     Poleaxe, "Eclipse" is a well-documented, well-known, and battle-proven medieval weapon. We’ve optimized the historical design for sport by adding a BT ‘smart blade’ that looks beefy and heavy as hell, but is actually deceptively light, and makes a truly fantastic buhurt toy:

The overall shape of the ‘Eclipse’ poleaxe provides good impact power and has a very low chance for bounce-back, and the diamond-shaped hammer is hollow inside to keep the overall-weight low, yet still acts as a counter-balance to the blade.
All ‘smart blades’ are created using well-tempered steel, and although they look extremely heavy (which gives them an intimidation factor), they are no heavier than the average polearm, and are lighter in many cases.
The wooden shaft (of your choice) is reinforced with riveted, steel langets, and sports a riveted handguard to help protect your hands from painful boo-boos.
Can be hafted on your choice of: Beech / Ash / or Composite with Bamboo, which are all then reinforced using thick, cotton-glued wire and sticky tape to protect and extend the longevity of the weapon, and provide a better grip.

     Poleaxe “Eclipse” - Smart Blade, is a powerful and knightly axe, designed for full-contact medieval battles and buhurt sport, and although it is a kick-ass work of art - it is still a fully functional buhurt tool.
