Poleaxe, "Liberty" - Smart Blade
 
     Buhurt Tech’s ‘smart blades’ are brutal combinations of ancient art and modern tech; a practical sort of alchemy. The smart blade is constructed using composite metal to produce a weapon that is hollow, but that sports a reinforced edge; meaning the weapon looks much heavier than it really is.
     Poleaxe, "Liberty" is a beastly BT ‘smart blade’ that looks savage and heavy as hell, but is deceptively light for the amount of well-tempered steel that it uses:
The diamond-shaped hammer is hollow inside to keep the overall-weight low, yet still acts as a counter-balance to the blade.
All ‘smart blades’ are created using well-tempered steel, and although they look extremely heavy (which gives them an intimidation factor), they are no heavier than the average polearm, and are lighter in many cases.
The wooden shaft (of your choice) is reinforced with riveted steel langets, and sports a riveted handguard to help protect your hands from painful boo-boos.
Can be hafted on your choice of: Beech / Ash / or Composite with Bamboo, which are all then reinforced using thick, cotton-glued wire and sticky tape to protect and extend the longevity of the weapon, and provide a better grip.
